Photocatalytic Methane Conversion to C1 Oxygenates over Palladium and Oxygen Vacancies Co‐Decorated TiO <sub>2</sub>

Direct methane (CH4) conversion to value-added chemicals through photocatalysis is promising still remains great challenges in both efficient activation of C-H bonds and suppression over-oxidation. Herein, palladium nanoparticles (Pd) oxygen vacancies (OVs) co-modified TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared employed for photocatalytic CH4 at room temperature. Under optimized conditions with O2 water as the oxidants, a high yield liquid oxygenates eg. 54693 μmol·g-1·h-1 nearly 100 % selectivity has been achieved. Mechanism investigations reveal that Pd OVs synergistically promote charge separation, acting hole electron acceptors, respectively. Isotopic experiments elucidate H2O are sources oxygenate production, where predominant one. This article protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
